This 5-week course for yoga teachers will explore the basics of the Sanskrit language, including reading and writing of the devanagari alphabet, correct transliteration, and proper pronunciation. We'll break down the meaning of numerous yoga postures and practices, and if time allows will also break down the meaning and grammar of common sanskrit mantras.

*Please note that this course will count as 10 contact hours towards an advanced teacher training certificate if you are enrolled in the Hamsa 300-hour Teacher Training Program. The course can also count as continuing education units if you are currently a Yoga Alliance Registered teacher.
