Doshic Anatomy: An In-depth Exploration of the Ayurvedic Principles of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha
The doshas of vata, pitta, and kapha are the psycho-physiological principles of Ayurveda that govern all bodily functions in order to maintain health, balance and well-being. This weekend intensive will transform the way you understand Ayurveda’s doshic wisdom and lay the groundwork for this 300-hour advanced training.
*Deepen your understanding of Ayurveda's tridoshic theory through learning to recognize, understand, and experience the three doshas and the fifteen subdoshas.
*Explore how this information applies to the practice and teaching of yoga through western and energetic anatomy, postural alignment, breath, mudra, bandha, and the five elements.
*This weekend immersion will evolve your understanding of how each dosha and sub-dosha can inform sequencing, class design and self-healing.
