This is the first in a series of four jams exploring the lawns and grounds of the McNay Art Museum.
Improv Jam is an hour and a half long jam session for dancers, musicians, artists and poets. Open to anyone interested in exploring improvisation or those wanting to be inspired by spur of the moment creation. Open to all ages, skill levels, abilities, styles and genres. Improv Jam is a judgement free zone and a safe place for exploration, imagination, creation and rehabilitation. This series is designed to allow creative minds to be inspired by their surroundings on the grounds of the McNay and the art within it.
This is a completely free event and is open to anyone interested in the art of improvisation. Please come out and explore your own movement potential and self creation.
Improv Jam is a growing community and needs your active help to continuously grow, spread the word, share the event, invite friends, and come jam. SPREAD THE WORD!
Come out and play on the grounds of the McNay. Please be mindful of any and all the art. Do not touch, climb or lean on any of the structures. Please try to arrive on time for our beginning circle.
