ROOKIE to RACE Sprint Triathlon Training Program!
At Alamo 180, we take great pride and joy in turning beginners into triathletes! Our proven programs work! In our positive training enviroment you will learn and develop at your own pace alongside other newbies! Triathlon should be fun and we make it fun! Let us guide you to a strong finish at your FIRST triathlon!
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
The 8 week program is designed to prepare newbie triathletes for a strong, race finish! This ensures you show up fully prepared for race day! You don’t need any triathlon experience. We promise! We will cover drills and skills in each discipline (swim, bike, run) every week. There is an assessment in each discipline during the first week, a midterm assessment, and a final assessment. These assessments allow us to monitor your progress throughout the program. By the midterm assessment, if you are not progressing as necessary, we will develop a plan of action to ensure you are ready for race day. This can include recommending additional training sessions to complete on your own, and/or doing private sessions. It is our top priority to get you ready and confident come race day.
