The members of the San Antonio Law (SA Law) humbly request your assistance in bringing together these police officers from around the State of Texas and the nation, to include confirmed teams from New York, West Virginia, Missouri, Nevada, Florida, California, Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, to name a few, to compete in the “Texas Showdown” men’s competitive law enforcement softball tournament and at the same time, support the Shields for Kids charity.
This competition allows police officers and their families to have a safe and comfortable environment, and to build camaraderie and fellowship among other police officers throughout the nation, while raising money to support Shields for Kids.
This is a 3-day event starting with a team mixer on June 29th. SA Law will be providing refreshments, food, and a raffle benefiting Shields for Kids for all teams and their families at this mixer and would like to request any assistance possible in the form of raffle prizes or cash donations.
Remember, Shields for Kids is a 501 ©(3) non-profit organization so a non-profit receipt of donation will accompany your donation.
All participating sponsors will be featured on the Shields for Kids website, the “Texas Showdown” Facebook page, and YouTube video as well as listed on the raffle prize list which is announced at the team mixer and recognized at the tournament itself. If sponsors have any pamphlets or advertisement pieces they would like to include in the player’s welcome bag, they would need to be mailed to the tournament coordinators headquarters located at 1117 W. Hildebrand San Antonio, Texas 78201, before June 17th 2016. There is a 20-team limit on the tournament, consisting of 15 players on each team, which would require 300 advertisement pieces for the welcome bags given to the players at the team mixer. If sponsors have any banners or signage available, SA Law coordinators would be happy to display those advertisements at all listed events. Contact the listed tournament director for coordinating the receipt of those banners or signage.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and support of the Police Officers of the State of Texas and the Shields for Kids Charity!
