With a career that has spanned over three decades, Jay Mohr has become an artist that is very difficult to define. Never wanting to rest on his accomplishments, Jay has always pushed himself to be more than just a comic.
From beginning his stand-up comedy career at the age of sixteen to landing his dream job on Saturday Night Live, launching his acting career with Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire, appearing in over 200 episodes of network television and over 25 feature films alongside a plethora of Academy Award winning actors; Jay Mohr has become a multi-media star. Never wanting to choose one career over another, Mohr has brilliantly balanced both acting and stand-up comedy as roommates in his brain.
Additionally, Mohr has published two books and currently hosts the nationally syndicated radio broadcast Jay Mohr Sports. His weekly podcast Mohr Stories has over a million listeners each month.
Comedy Central has named Mohr one of the 100 greatest stand-up comics of all time. Jay believes in three tenets that make great live comedy: no notes, no two shows the same, and an act that never picks on the audience. The foundation is laid when he often tells his audiences, “let’s just jump off a cliff together and build our wings on the way down!”
