Join us Saturday, August 26th for our 3rd Annual Official Ice Cream of San Antonio Competition.
Chefs and artisan ice cream makers from across San Antonio will use their culinary skills to create delectable frozen treats using Dorćol’s award-winning Kinsman Apricot Rakia. Few of the participants will include chefs from Jazz, Tx, The Hoppy Monk, Hanzo, the upcoming Modernist, Liberty Bar, Saucy Sweets, and Brindles.
Get here early to vote for your favorite to be crowned the Taster's Choice, while the judging panel will pick their top flavor, naming it the Helado Borracho, San Antonio’s Official Ice Cream.
This year's judges include food writer Ron Bechtol, editor Jessica Elizarraras, HEB VP Jorge Elizondo, Councilwoman Shirley Gonzales, and Mayor Ron Nirenberg.
Along with the frozen treats and cocktails, we’ll also be pouring our HighWheel beers and have music and a food truck onsite.
Admission of $10 gets you ice cream samples for the night with ticket proceeds benefiting the Contemporary Art Month non-profit.
