On Wednesday, August 16, 2017, SAY Sí presents its annual showcase of film projects by youth-filmmakers in its Media Arts Studio.
In SAY Sí’s Media Arts Studio, student artists [ranging from 15-18 years old] are given first hand experience with filmmaking. Students use industry-standard equipment and software to complete their projects, with the finished films sent to film festivals nationwide. For many, this experience is their first step toward a professional career.
This screening includes the short narratives from the High School program, silent shorts from the Middle School program and short documentaries from SAY Sí's Project Papalote residencies in Mexico and India.
