Blues music that came out of Texas turned the music world on its head. From mainstream artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan and ZZ Top, to legends of the guitar like Albert Collins and Freddie King, there is no doubt that the blues music of Texas will forever influence new generations of musicians. The guitar plays a key role, along with the shuffle, and a tight rhythm section.
On the axe and vocals, Revelator Hill's Bobby Thompson, who has logged many years of touring the nation, with some of his most memorable shows in places like Austin, Dallas, and H...ouston. He's become a staple of blues-rock guitar on the east coast, releasing 6 albums since 2010. He opened for Gary Clark Jr, while on tour in 2013, and has been a disciple of the Vaughan Brothers, showcasing his knowledge of the Texas blues guitar sound and tone.
On bass will be Kurt Kratch, known for his work with Tom Principato, Blueheart Revival, and many more. On drums, Mark Stutso, the backbeat genius that current tours and records as a member of DC's own legendary blues band The Nighthawks.
