Our sophomore album 'KIVA' is our medicine album. It has been created over the course of a few years, inadvertently becoming a culmination of Daniela's untimely death of her mother compounded by the political atmosphere of the past year and beyond. We'll be releasing more details about KIVA in the weeks to come, but until then we want to get the word out about our upcoming album release concert!

Femina-X is an al...ternative, Latin band from San Antonio comprised of members Daniela Riojas (vox), Alex Scheel (guitar), Jeff Palacios (bass), Luke Bonecutter (cello), and Jai Roots (drums). Femina-X identifies as «Latin Alternative» and creates unconventional fusions of progressive tribal and ethnic dance, jazz, Native/Afro-latino rhythms, Caribbean, and Southwestern desert landscapes. Daniela's chameleon voice has the range to both coo and siren, lull and frighten, always reaching from a place of passion, imagination, and child-like playfulness. Her vision, melody, and lyrics construct the world within each song, pulling from her ability to narrate and share the deeply personal with an edge of fantasy.
About Arte y Pasión: Arte y Pasión is a flamenco company comprised of independent artists accomplished in their own right. We are known for being among the most contemporary of Spanish dance companies in the United States, whose mission is to share and promote the authentic art of flamenco, while exploring evolution and specific subject matter. Directed by award winning flamenco dancer: Tamara Adira, featuring one of greatest voices in flamenco: Chayito Champion, flamenco guitartist: Luisma, and world renown dancer: Melissa Cruz.
About Volcán: Volcán is a 13 piece South Texas based latin indie orchestra formed in late 2014. The group boasts a full rhythm section (comprised of drums, congas, bongos, timbales, piano, and bass), a full brass section (comprised of trumpet, trombone, alto saxophone, and mellophone), a state champion accordionist, a prolific lead guitarist, and best-in-class vocals. Volcán is all original, opting never to use covers despite their dedication to bringing traditional cultural sounds to a new generation of Latinos.
